Day 8: What’s In My Handbag?
Well, it looks something like this:
Or perhaps this:
Not my actual bags, but you get the idea…
Organization is not my natural state.
I also know that having an organized handbag/car/office/life would probably lessen my stress and elevate my mood. I recently read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. Wow! Game changer. I won’t go in to detail, but if your stuff and your energy could use an overhaul, READ THIS BOOK!
She recommends starting with clothing, and I am happy to say my closet and drawers have never been so organized. The purse? Not so much.
Some treasures from my handbag:
Polka dot wallet with all the essentials: driver license, credit and debit cards, way too many coffee shop punch cards, receipts, and memberships (Kaiser, public library, OMSI, Oregon zoo, Petsmart)
2 Sharpies + 6 ink pens
Business cards, MovePT postcards, and 2 name tags (this girl needs a spare)
1 set of keys, 2 packs of gum, and 3 lip balms
Gum wrappers – my daughter loves to steal gum and leave me with the wrappers.
1 WEO Rocks purple rock
2 tea bags and an essential oil blend called “Sunny Outlook”
Paperclips and quarters
December 21: I dish on myself for “My Worst Habits”
See you then!
